JulijaAstrauskiene reports: Two events in Lithuania:

1. The fourth official meeting of international Leonardo partnership project “HORTICULTURE- Grüne Partner für Mobilität” LLP-LdV-PRT-2008-LT-0027 will take place in Radviliskis, LT at 10-03-2010/14-03-2010.

The aim of this particular project is to create partnership network between partners countries (DE, NL, IT, GR, LT) and improve better vocational training in Green sector. In Partnership mobility visits are involved schools authorities, teachers, students, entrepreneurs, decision makers from all participating countries. In the frame of this project were prepared some other IVT students mobility projects. With Leonardo da Vinci program support students were going to do their stage to working placement abroad in partners’ countries. For real video bridge LRPRC has not necessary hardware. Radviliskis is small town in the middle of Lithuania, so in our town we also have not such equipment. We suppose to use Skype connection.

Aim of future Skype connection with Austria- present to participants of 4th international meeting in LRPRC video bridge technology as new possibility for distance vocational training and as part of Life Long Learning program.

2. Steve Thompson proposed us to arrange for students of our vocational training centre (LRPRC) an online quiz with English group of students. We will try to organize it till 04-03-2010, but time is running fast…
