My arrival
Marina *Vienna Airport: How comforting! A taxi had been arranged to take me to the hotel Karolinenhof. It was getting dark and I could hardly see where I was going. Everything around was covered in snow which in my mind was associated with the Alps. So, yes, I was in Austria. *At the hotel: I reached the hotel full of anticipation. Some had already arrived and seemed to have known each other. I had a warm welcome and then FranzNahrada showed us to the rooms we would use for our group work and plenary meetings the following days.He seemed to me very well organized and considerate as he had cared for all possible needs. The tranquility of the snowed night outside and the warmth of the hosts and the hotel inside were both a relief to any anxiety that the unknown may bring up and a promising start to the days to follow.
