Frau Chindaritha hat in Thailand (Silpakorn- und Mahidol-Universität) Linguistik und Sozialanthropologie studiert und anschließend als Lehrbeauftragte für Linguistik und Ethnologie an der Silpakorn-Universität gearbeitet sowie an zahlreichen ethnolinguistischen, archäologischen und anthropologischen Feldforschungen in Thailand teilgenommen. In der Region Guangxi führte Frau Pacchira Chindaritha mehrere Feldforschungen bei den Zhuang, der zahlenmäßig größten ethnischen Minderheit der Volksrepublik China, durch. Ab Jänner 2007 wird Frau Chindaritha als Ehnolinguistik-Forscherin am "Nationalities Research Institute" und als Lehrbeauftragte am "Anthropology and Ethnology Research Institute & Southeast Asia Research Institute, Guangxi University for Nationalities" (s. unten) in Nanning tätig sein.
Frau Pacchira Chindaritha ist selbst ein äußerst polyglotter Mensch und beherrscht neben Thai und Englisch auch Mon, Khmer, Lao, Chinesisch und Zhuang. Selbst Angehörige einer Minorität (Mon) zeigt sie großen Respekt für die ethnischen Minderheiten Südostasiens und Chinas. Sie versteht es, mit ihren Gewährsleuten respektvoll umzugehen und für ihre Arbeit zu motivieren. Die Dokumentation und die Bewahrung der Sprachen der ethnischen Minderheiten Südostasiens und Chinas ist ihr ein besonderes Anliegen.
