[1] Our team works with a heavily modified Moodle environment for our e-learning applications. We ended up modifying it even further to create our own “meeting” space ( http://meeting.knet.ca) … It comes with a lot of modules that one can pick and choose from to support a variety of synchronous and asynchronous gatherings. And one nice spin off is the users become familiar with this e-learning environment for online courses.
