After the Napoleon wars the Congress of Vienna (these guys up there) started the new order in modern international politics. The congress lasted from Sept. 18, 1814 to June 9th, 1815

Después de las guerras napoleónicas el congreso de Viena plasmo el orden nuevo de las relaciónes internaciónales. El congreso duró entre 18 de Septiembre de 1814 á 9 de Junio de 1815

Der Wiener Kongress nach den napoleonischen Kriegen war die Grundlage der Politik der Neuzeit. Er dauerte vom 18. September 1814 bis 9. Juni 1815.

As the global dimension of the Congres of Viena is usually ignored in Europe, it will be reloaded as a scientific congress.

Como se suele ignorar la dimensión global del mismo congreso, se va a repetirlo como un congreso científico.

Daher wird wegen seiner gerne übersehenen internationalen Bedeutung in Wien von der Adhilac und dem Forschungs und Kulturverein für Kontinentalamerika und die Karibik ein entsprechender Kongress veranstaltet: Congress of Vienna reloaded (meine Bezeichnung)

How to participate?

To participate as a speaker at this international event and present research projects (in progress or completed), interested persons should send to the email address

office@congresodeviena.at

a proposal including the following information:

1. .Personal information (name, address and email)
2. .Professional Data (academic degree and institutional affiliation / University)
3. Title of paper, abstract (250 words) summary (100 words)
4. There is also the possibility of proposing own thematic tables, posters, panel discussions, roundtables, workshops, ongoing research and book presentations or movies.

Reglas de participación como palestrante

Para participar como ponente en este evento internacional y presentar sus investigaciones (en curso o terminadas), los interesados deben enviar a la dirección de correo electrónico office@congresodeviena.at la siguiente información:

1. Datos personales (nombre y apellido, dirección postal y correo electrónico)
2. Datos profesionales (grado académico y pertenencia institucional/Universidad)
3. Título de la ponencia, resumen (250 palabras), hoja de vida (100 palabras)
4. Además hay la posibilidad de proponer propias mesas temáticas, afiches, paneles de discusión, mesas redondas, talleres de investigación en marcha o presentaciones de libros o películas.

Call for members of the Panel: Conflicts provoked by the Congress of Vienna

According to Henry Kissinger's interpretation of the Congress of Vienna a new rule of political communication, diplomacy etc. as a peace-keeping discourse on conflicts has been established. Question: Was this a peace keeping discourse or a "pax europea", that means a "network Empire" among so-called civilized countries against all others.

China for instance had its own chino-centric World System. Due to the exemplar center (the residence of Tianzi - the Emperor) no residences of foreign ambassadors were allowed in Beijing. Europeans felt an indignation to obey the ceremonies at the Chinese court. This is an interpretation for the Opium war by political sciences totally ignoring the narcotraficantes (they were British). So China became "disciplined" with the tragedy of a collapsing civilization as a consequence similar to Rome but during the 19th century lasting until Mao Zedong's victory.

Paraguay is a similar case of a not-really Western civilization in South America (for reasons Plachetka had investigated in his PhD? Thesis and subsequent projects). But recent strategic studies indicated that the reasons for the war of the Triple Alliance and the subsequent genocide to the population of Paraguay could be interpreted that Francisco Solano López was right when justifying his military actions in defense of Uruguay's sovereignty by the principles of balance of power endorsed again by the Congress of Vienna.

In brief words: There was a clear distinction to whom the new rules of diplomacy were valid and to whom they were not valid. "Network Empire" in the sense of Hardt and Negri's work Empire?
