"I am an urbanist and sustainable design social entrepreneur who has been instrumental in placing design strategy and green thinking into a number of processes. I have also been a curator and set up platforms for debate in think tank circles. I had a little period in the lifestyle businesses by having a slowfood restaurant in Paris and have been on the board and advised a number of small ethical/eco start-ups.

I might add that the idea of the village is an old one, I have been collecting experiences for the last 10 years to realise it, waiting for myself, the tools and the world to be mature to consider participatory planning as a possible alternative to traditional ways, but also the social, economic and environmental crisis cluster seemingly to be at a momentary peak. The idea was born when I conducted a research for the French government alongside writing my thesis at the Sorbonne on how to bridge the digital divide and make sustainable communities in isolated areas in France."
