Presentation of successful UK projects including community telecentres and broadband community informatics projects

Idea from Bernhard: webradio as a chance to spread information / motivation for innovative local development

"David`s suggested program for the workshop is as follow :-)"

  • tuesday jan.25th- delegatesarrive - evening get together
  • wednesday jan.26th- one day conference on Rural Development by Education and ICT
  • thursday jan. 27th- ERDE Internal meeting (am) + local community visits (pm)
  • friday jan. 28th- visit to community projects
  • saturday jan. 29th- delegates depart
Each country should make a presentation at the conference on wednesday based on practical experience of real-life community projects such as we all saw in Austria, Germany and Poland.

The delegates and other speakers at the conference will all have such practical experience which we can all learn from.

Here are some informations for everybody who is interested: Our meeting will take place in Teeside. This town in the north-east of England is situated in Cleveland and close to the River Tees. The distance to Cambridge is about 300 km.
