Purpose of the Global Villages Network: to collect and network people interested in village development.

We are beginning to organize them around the globe purely with the help of internet tools like social networks, skype (dialogies like those that you have just seen) etc.

We seek to establish a learning community of village leaders that are curious and interested in knowledge about local development.

We prefer knowledge that is free and unpatented and can easily be applied.
We encourage the creation and sharing and documentation of such knowledge.

It will lead to a common educational endavour.

An important element of this endavour will be Videobridging = outreaching to people and exploring the local realities
